OUR HISTORY
Angelo Sugamosto was born in 1955 in Guarcino, in province of Frosinone, Italy. Soon after his birth he and his family emigrated to the US (Rhode Island), where, as a teenager, he began working in precision mechanics.
At the age of 22, after his return to Italy, a life-project with his wife, his passion for mechanics and the desire to build up something new and useful (togli rosso) moved him to open a small workshop in his own garage, the O.M.T. It 's 1985. These years of sacrifice resulted in a beautiful family and a company under his name. In 1997 Angelo Sugamosto purchased a hectare of (togli rosso) land in Cisterna di Latina, built a production unit on It and invested in new generation machinery. Thus was born the M.P.S. of Sugamosto Angelo & C. s.a.s.
M.P.S. s.a.s. soon became a reference point for italian companies in multiple sectors, thanks to production flexibility and high quality standards. In the early 2000s the company's growth allowed structural extensions and further investment in technology.
In 2022 M.P.S. s.a.s., now a real estate company, founds the Meccanica Sugamosto s.r.l. and entrusts the production activities to It, giving an opportunity to the new generation. The company preserves its identity, with the added value of a optimistic momentum towards the future through investments in technology, internationalization, but,above all, by putting the human resource at the center (versione corretta), in the exact perspective of an industry 4.0 .
